Websites for restaurants

Restaurant websites that fill tables.

Menus that load before the hunger fades, reservations in two taps, and orders that come to you directly — not through an app taking a cut.

  • Mobile-first menus
  • Direct online ordering

Restaurant website design

7 core pages · custom-built, never a template

The job

A restaurant site has three jobs.

  • Make them hungry

Food is bought with the eyes first. Big, fast-loading photos and a menu people can actually read on a phone do more selling than any slogan.

  • Get them through the door

Hours, location, parking, a reservation button — answered in the first five seconds, whether they came from a Google search or an Instagram bio link.

  • Keep the margin

Every order that comes through your own site instead of a delivery app is an order you keep all of. The site should make ordering direct the easy option.

The problem

Sound familiar?

Our menu is a PDF.

It crawls open on a phone, Google can’t read it, and every price change means redesigning the file. Guests pinch, zoom, and give up.

The apps take a big bite.

Delivery platforms bring orders, then take a serious commission on every one. Regulars who’d happily order direct have no easy way to.

Google shows the wrong hours.

Your listing says one thing, your site another, your Instagram a third. People show up to a closed door — and leave a one-star review about it.

What we build

Everything it needs. Nothing it doesn’t.

Menus built as real pages

Searchable, fast, and editable in minutes. Dietary tags, prices and daily specials — without ever touching a PDF again.

Reservations built in

We connect the booking tool you already use, or send requests straight to your inbox — one tap from every page.

Commission-free ordering

Pickup and delivery through your own site, paid online, so your best customers stop paying an app’s markup.

Local SEO & Google Maps

Restaurant structured data, consistent hours everywhere, and location pages so you show up for “restaurants near me.”

Photos that load fast

Image-heavy pages that still fly — compressed, lazy-loaded and sized for every screen, so the food looks as good as it tastes.

Events & private dining

A proper inquiry flow for group bookings, catering and private events — the high-value orders that deserve more than a phone call.

The blueprint

The pages that pull their weight.

Our starting sitemap — we adjust it to how your business actually runs before anything gets designed.

  1. Home

The hero dish, today’s hours, location and a reservation button — all above the fold.

  2. Menu

Real pages organised by course, with dietary tags and prices you edit yourself.

  3. Reservations

Your booking tool, embedded — or a simple request form if you take bookings by phone.

  4. Order online

Pickup and delivery, paid online, straight to your kitchen.

  5. Private events

Packages, capacity, and an inquiry form that captures the details up front.

  6. Our story

The chef, the kitchen, the reason you opened — the part no delivery app can tell.

  7. Location & contact

Map, parking, hours and holiday closures, in sync with Google.

Found nearby

Built to be found when they’re hungry.

  • “Near me” searches

Most restaurant discovery starts on Google Maps. Restaurant schema tells Google your hours, cuisine and menu, so it shows the right details.

  • Accessibility

Restaurant sites are a frequent target of ADA accessibility claims. We build to WCAG 2.1 AA — readable menus, keyboard-friendly booking, proper contrast.

  • Reviews that help you rank

Reviews are one of the strongest local ranking signals. We make leaving one easy after a visit, and surface the best ones on the site.

Let’s plan your restaurant’s site in one call.

Tell us how you take orders and bookings today. We’ll show you what the site would look like — no deck, no pressure.

How it works

From first call to live.

  • A straight conversation

You tell us how customers find you today and what a good month looks like. No brief needed, no sales deck.

  • The blueprint

We come back with the sitemap, the approach and a timeline — before a single pixel gets designed.

  • Design, words, build

Custom design, copy written for your customers, and a fast mobile-first build with SEO set up from day one.

  • Launch, then grow

We launch, connect Google, and stay on for updates, fixes and the SEO that keeps it climbing.

FAQ

Questions, answered.

How much does a restaurant website cost?
It depends on what it has to do. A menu-and-reservations site sits at the lower end; online ordering, multiple locations or catering flows add to it. We scope every project after a short call and give you a fixed quote before anything starts.
Can I update the menu myself?
Yes. The menu is built as real pages with a simple editor, so changing a price, adding a special or marking a dish sold out takes minutes — no PDF, no developer.
Do I still need DoorDash or Uber Eats?
Probably, for reach — the apps are good at finding new customers. The site’s job is to give your regulars a direct way to order, so you stop paying commission on people who already love you.
Will my restaurant show up on Google Maps?
Your Google Business Profile does most of that work, and the website backs it up. We add Restaurant structured data, keep your hours consistent everywhere, and build a page per location if you have more than one.
Can you connect OpenTable, Resy or my POS?
In most cases, yes. We embed the reservation tool you already use and can connect online ordering to common POS systems — we’ll confirm exactly what’s possible for your setup on the first call.
